How Much You Can Earn
Your actual Green Rewards depend on the following:
Payout Rate
You’ll earn a fixed Green Rewards rate for every kWh of solar energy you generate. The rate varies by campaign and will be confirmed at installation.
Your Solar Contribution
The more clean energy your system produces, the more Green Rewards you’ll earn over time.
General Estimate
Estimates are based on typical system size, average household usage and standard payout rates. Actual rewards depend on your system size, location and generation performance.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Green Rewards Programme?+
An environmental initiative where we turn the green value of your solar electricity into Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), sell them, and pay you a share (Green Reward) once a year.
Who can join the programme?+
Customers who have an active Solar Contract with us.
If you do manage to sell, trade or retire my RECs, how much can I expect to receive?+
It depends on how much we receive from selling RECs, after we deduct costs such as certification, registry and verification fees. Your share will be based on how much solar energy your system generated (measured in kWh), or another fair method we choose.
When and how will I get paid?+
We pay you once a year, in June, for the previous year’s generation. Payment will be credited to the credit or debit card enrolled for your Time Solar Auto Debit payments.
How long will the programme last?+
5 years from when you start. The 5-year validity is a mandatory requirement under the I-REC system, so please join only if you’re happy to stay for the full term. At the end of the 5 years, unless you inform us beforehand, your participation may be automatically extended for a further 5 years.
